I'm Mak, an Artificial Intelligence Scientist in Washington, DC.
I'm currently working as a Research Scientist at the Naval Research Laboratory. My username, MakRo is a play on the portmanteau of my nickname "Mak Roberts" and a programming "macro". A macro(instruction) reduces tedium and errors as either a keyboard shortcut for performing complex operations or a programming instruction for inserting substitutions. This site is mostly a way to share my publications.
